Description
A catheter body with balloon at the distal end and an inflation hub at the proximal end. The catheter contains a wire (stillete) which may be attached to an obturator that fits to the catheter hub. The catheter is encased in a plastic cover which can be opened at the proximal end.

Method of use
Used for the removal of emboli and thrombi from the arterial system. The wire is removed prior to use and the catheter inserted into the patient's artery and through the occlusion. The balloon is then inflated (with sterile liquid or carbon dioxide). Once inflated, the catheter is withdrawn back through the blood clot and removed.
