Description
PVC tube approximately 40cm or 105cm in length with X-ray detectable line and possesses printed indications of depth. The distal end of the tube is closed and possesses at least 2 side eyes. The proximal end possesses a female luer end with an integral cap which is often colour coded for size identification.

Method of use
An appropriately sized tube is selected depending on the age of the infant. With the aid of the depth marks, the tube is passed into the stomach of the infant via the mouth or the nasal cavity. The tube is secured to the face with adhesive strips. Enteral feeds are administrated either by a syringe drive pump, bolus feed or gravity.
