SMTL Medical Disposable Datacard

Chart paper

All Wales Contract: ECG Electrodes, Diathermy plates, Defib pads
Sterility Status: Non Sterile.
Usage Status: Single use.

Description

Paper (either in rolls or separate sheets) marked with grid for use with medical recorder machines (such as ECG monitors for example). Paper isoften chemical/thermal (a chemical reaction occurs when the paper is heated which leads to a colour change) which prevents fading over time. Some recordings are required to be archived for many years.

A range of sizes to fit particular machines are available. For example, machines require rolls of paper with a specific thickness and internal spool diameter. Many medical recorder machines require chart paper which is specific to the machine.

Please note: Chart paper for foetal monitors must be archival (i.e. readable for 20 years)
